The K5 Pro utilizes the stability and reliability of the XMOS XUF208 microcontroller, paired with the NJRC NW1195A analog volume adjustment chip, TI TPA6120, and OPA1642 JEFT op-amp for precise volume control and high-resolution sound output. ADC volume control eliminates channel imbalances and allows for smooth adjustment to suit headphones of varying sensitivities.

Constructed with an all-aluminum black body that is CNC-machined, anodized, and sandblasted, the K5 Pro feels robust and textured for a comfortable grip. Gain switches offer low, medium, and high gain levels to accommodate different headphone power needs, while unique RGB status lights indicate sample rate changes with color-coded flashes.

Toggle switches allow for easy control over input selection and gain levels, providing versatility for different scenarios. The device offers multiple interfaces such as Coaxial, Optical, RCA line-in, 6.35mm headphone outputs, and RCA line-out for diverse connectivity options.

The K5 Pro boasts powerful headphone amplification with a redesigned audio circuit optimized for TPA6120, delivering up to 1.5W output under a 32ohm load and 20Vpp at 300ohm. The external DC 15V power supply minimizes noise and power supply ripple for stable and high-performance audio.

Featuring a high-performance DAC and USB decoding chip, the K5Pro ESS headphone amplifier delivers exceptional sound quality with ES9038PRO and XUF208 USB chip supporting up to 768kHz and DSD256 inputs. It supports a variety of inputs and outputs for seamless connectivity with different devices and headphones, handling both low and high impedance with precision volume adjustment for all sensitivities.
